Neil Gaiman

Heehee... I'm reading that Newbery Award book right now. It's pretty good - dark, but good.

Actually, there is a quote I've been meaning to post from The Graveyard Book. The main character Bod has a discussion with his guardian, who says at one point, "Wherever you go, you take yourself with you." He says this to Bod as he is explaining why someone would choose to take their own life, but I think that statement, as simple as it seems, is incredibly profound. It says that you just cannot run away from your problems. You have to face them no matter how big or small. That meant a lot to me, as I am still going through the change from "maiden" to "mother" and all it entails. Just some food for thought.

I've added a step Maiden, Mother, Matriarch, Crone. I'm in the Matriarch stage now. You are and will be an amazing Mother.
