Last Weekend...

This past weekend we drove down to Virginia.  We spent a lovely Easter visiting my folks and enjoying the Shenandoah Valley.  Here are some (okay, a lot of) pictures from our weekend...  I really tried to be conservative, but these were just too good not to share.  (And yes, that is Oz singing YMCA, by the way.  That boy cracks me up.)

Would you like some picture commentary?  So, I seriously love the shot of the Easter Bunny shaking her head at Charlie when he dumps eggs everywhere.  Charlie was nuts for that bunny.  Everywhere she went, Charlie would follow and wave.  It was adorable. Oz loved the local fire station egg hunt, visiting the library (not pictured) and most especially Gypsy Hill Park.  Playgrounds galore.  We got a great family picture there (after a zillion rounds of film, that is).  The pic of my parents holding Charlie is also fun - Charlie is trying to tickle me!  Eep!  The giant flower pots and watering can are highway art in my favorite little town - Stanton.  I always drive by them and crave a yard of my own to host a giant flower pot in.  We also stopped at Willy's for ice cream on Easter because the weather was gorgeous.  Finally, that little vest Oscar is sporting in over half of these pictures is his new favorite dress-up apparel.  Dad and I went thrifting on Saturday and the vest was my best score of the day.  The YMCA shot alone was totally worth it.  Hope your weekend was as much fun as ours!
